On the authority of Abu Hurairah (ra) that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, “When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah, or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him”.

[Saheeh Muslim]

Prophet Muhamad (PBUH) said: “Whoever calls someone to the path of righteousness, he will have as much reward as he has for his followers.”

[Saheeh Muslim, Mishkat H/158]

Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah who withholds and grants abundance, and to Him you will be returned.

[Al Quran - 02 : 245]

Sadaqah Jariyah means a continuous, flowing, and ongoing charity. It is one of the most rewarding acts we can do in our lives, as the benefits of giving this type of charity can be reaped in this lifetime and long after our deaths.
